BASIS Central Office Scottsdale is seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Systems and Projects Analyst!

POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the Financial Systems and Projects Analyst is to develop and maintain the configuration of systems related to finance and accounting. Perform research, guidance, and ad-hoc analysis on a diverse range of projects pertaining to finance and accounting interests. This will also include providing process improvement research and implementation strategies for the Finance unit.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Research and analyze financial systems for adherence to accounting standards.  Modifying as administrator, as needed. 
  • Support financial system users with day-to-day modification requests.  
  • Complete ad-hoc projects based on need and recommendations.
  • Analyze and identify process efficiencies and improvements within the Finance Services division.
  • Assist in the process implementation, documentation, and training of financial systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business field from an accredited college or university.
Certifications and Credentials: None.

Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office - must have advanced proficiency with MS Excel.  Experience with Concur, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Paylocity, Amazon Business, or SharePoint, is a plus.
