Education Redefined

At BASIS Charter Schools, we’re proud to contribute to the tradition of excellence shared by all BASIS Curriculum Schools, one of putting student learning first and creating an environment of supportive collegiality between students, teachers, and administration. Education redefined rests on three pillars:

  • A curriculum educating students to the highest international levels
  • Expert teachers who are knowledgeable, passionate, and believe that with the right support and encouragement, any child can excel
  • A joyful learning culture where hard work is celebrated and intellectual pursuits result in extraordinary outcomes

Student Results & Achievements

Leading the world in math, reading, and science

The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), administered by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an exam given to 15-year-olds around the world to evaluate critical thinking and applied knowledge in math, reading, and science.

On the OECD Test for Schools (based on PISA), BASIS Curriculum students soar, so much so that if our students formed their own nation, they’d be the top performers in the world.

Ranking consistently among the best schools in the U.S.

BASIS Curriculum Schools’ consistent recognition on the national stage is a reflection of the quality of the curriculum, dedication of our expert educators, and hard work of incredible students. This includes BASIS Curriculum Schools being named the top five schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

Excelling at college-level work in high school

Deep learning happens when students are challenged. Our curriculum is centered around this idea, and there is no better manifestation of challenge than AP and post-AP coursework.

BASIS Curriculum students perform exceedingly well on AP exams compared to peers in the U.S. and students around the globe.

From academic competition wins and sports victories to alumni successes

Because of their hard work, BASIS Curriculum students grow into self-sufficient learners who are often recognized for their talents across disciplines, in and out of the classroom. We seek these opportunities out on behalf of our students, but they are also often recognized organically by meeting eligibility for prestigious national and international awards.

BASIS Curriculum students excel in the world's top colleges and universities

College admissions are one of the ultimate indicators of strength and recognition of a program. BASIS Curriculum students work incredibly hard; we’re proud to offer a program that acts as a launching pad for students to achieve their dreams.
