What you will do around here…

The Director of Auxiliary Programs and Summer Programs position is a great opportunity to work for a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial private school. In this role, the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Summer Programs primarily responsible for coordinating the after school and summer programs.

You can expect to… 

  • Research after school and summer programs offered in the community;
  • Design and maintain seasonal auxiliary course catalogs including schedules; communicate offerings and provide weekly updates to families via newsletters and meetings
  • Evaluate demand for student after school and summer programs; Analyze student participation in activities and the financial impact; Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for parents, students, faculty, staff and contractors
  • Procure and manage external vendor relationships;
  • Coordinate, market and manage the after school and summer programs;
  • Collect and process school fees; register students for campus programs
  • Purchase equipment or services; and
  • Perform clerical tasks.

A Bachelor's degree and valid fingerprint clearance are required to work at BASIS Independent Schools. The ideal applicant will have 3-5 years of administrative and/or event planning experience. A school setting or youth-serving organization is preferred.
