BASIS Flagstaff is seeking an Academic Programs Coordinator to provide academic support to the school’s administrative staff and impact both student and parent experience in order to meet the mission of BASIS.ed Schools.  In this role, the Academic Programs Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring data integrity for attendance and grade reporting systems, newsletter and other communication production, and organizing substitute and school activities.

Primary Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the grade reporting system
  • Coordinating teacher substitute scheduling
  • Creating and distributing the School Newsletter through paper and digital media
  • Tracking attendance and communicating with students and parents
  • Special projects as assigned (field trip coordination, enrollment marketing, etc.)

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years teaching or administrative experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. A valid fingerprint clearance card is required to work at BASIS.ed.  Proven experience of ability to work on a team.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children and families in a school setting. Event planning and digital/social media communication experience preferred. Together with a high level of personal responsibility and optimism, a successful applicant with demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced, achievement-oriented learning environment.
